Created in California celebrates the foods invented here and the people, places, and unexpected combinations that made them possible. Food transcends our differences and brings us together, often becoming part of our shared identity. The foods I paint connect to my own experiences and reflect the creativity that comes from different cultures meeting in California. Through this series, I honor the diversity of people and interests, the beauty of the land, and all the other magic that makes this place what it is.
